Adaptive Input and UI

The average computer used today is hundreds of thousands of times faster than the computer NASA used to explore the frontier of space in 1969. Processing power is more affordable than ever before. No longer is the main goal of technological innovators to create faster processors, but rather more consumer-friendly products. Thus a new technological frontier: the freedom and flexibility to easily access the digital world in a variety of places and platforms all while conforming to the user’s sense and sensibilities.

Silicon Benders forge ahead on this frontier. Sketchable is specifically designed to work uniformly on every form factor an input Windows 10 has to offer: 8-inch tablets to 8k desktops. The user can start their work on their desktop and finish on their tablet during the subway ride home. Sacrificing neither functionality nor familiarity, experiencing the same settings and speed.

Sketchable is adaptable not only to unique hardware but also unique users. Sketchable learns from the user by allowing for programmable stylus buttons and integrated touch gestures. The UI is specific to the user by adjusting for precise mouse and dial inputs incorporating the latest APIs. In addition, all the Industry standard keyboard shortcuts are available.

The more integrated a digital product is in a user’s workflow, the more effective the user. Sketchable is designed to work consistently no matter the preferences or location of the user. One may not send a man to the moon with their Windows 10 hardware, but having software that works with their schedule and preferences is still a new frontier.
